Actually KICA has a pretty nice facility, never completed. They run 1.4kw using a Harris 2.5 solid state transmitter about 5 miles east of the Texas-NM border. They are located there as they had a CP to go 50kw that they let expire. They moved to this site as it was to be a 3 tower array. They only built one tower. The proposed pattern would have put a city grade signal (5mv) over Amarillo 100 miles away. They recently changed from an "Americana" country format to country gospel, too soon to gauge the success.
