This morning was much more like I would have expected from an April morning, no China, no second level Japanese, no channels with more than one signal...pretty dull, I'm afraid. Listened at 1300 and then again at 1330UT and threw in the towel pretty quickly both times.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): 594 JOAK 828 JOBB reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 774 JOUB 1053 100Hz hum; interesting that this one seems to be in with the "first tier" DX.... 1566 HLAZ before the pattern change not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 747 JOIB Burbles in the splatter and noise: 567 maybe JOIK; too much splatter for good // w/594 702 w/SAH, mostly DU, so 2BL? 873 JOGB //828 972 HLCA likely 1134 unID Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1098 DU, 1287, 1305, 1475 best wishes, Nick ********** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
