Started around 1240UT this morning, and although there were a few Asiatics,
they didn't stick around and it was mostly weak DUs after that until I quit at
1255UT.

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):

828 JOBB

reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash
or noise):

none except for the above fading down

not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:

594 DU direction, //w/567 seems to indicate 3WV
612 4QR //702 at 1252
621 DU sounding EE by man at 1255, very briefly. Potential //792 had faded by
now.
747 JOIB
774 JOUB
792 DU looping mx
1566 HLAZ

Burbles in the splatter and noise:

567 4JK //594, someone else there also might be New Zealand?
639 likely Fiji?
738 not //612, and direction finding indicated Tahiti
855 DU direction but no parallels available
954 heard earlier with a SAH, so might have been JOKR?
1287 heard earlier, w/JJ inflected talk; JOHR?

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

none

best wishes,

Nick
