Despite heavy continuous static, S9+10 to +20, I had weak aural 783 het from
about 0530-0615 utc. Nothing anywhere else. On LW even stronger NDBs drowned
out by the strong static.
This morning had 891 DU poor/weak at 1200 utc, lots of other hets but not
close to audio. But at 1212 utc 738 was poor/weak with man speaking rapidly
in possible French. Did not sound like DU and 891 and 1116 just poor hets
then. Anyone else check 738 this morning--did Tahiti do something to improve
their signal? All gone by 1220.
I continue to check 1710 Russian signal. I frequently hear it at TOH/BOH and
have never heard anything sounding like a break for a station ident. The
programming never seems to be tied to our local time. A man/woman drama was
going on at 1124 utc, continuing through BOH and afterwards. 1200 utc had
vocal music before and after TOH. Missed it at BOH but still weak at times
at 1243 utc with vocal music. Was man "preaching" before that.

Now 0330 UT and 1566.000 has been producing a solid het (in Perseus terms
anyway) from before 0300. Carrier is about -100 dbm with background

lots to overcome that.
Our local sunset is around 0350 ut. Nothing on 783, altho under the
wing
of local 790, I'm not expecting much... Using ~700' beverage at 60 deg.
Thanks Don. No sign of life on either channel here tonight, at least by
0515UT....our sunset is only about 15 minutes after yours at this time of
year.
