WGHC is in fact a NEW station. When 1370 was moved to 870 in Mount Holly/Charlotte, NC Art Sutton filed for a new AM on 1400 and used the same calls.
And knowing that WGAP is owned by Horne Radio, I'm not surprised it's been broadcasting dead air for 3 days. Reportedly, their AM stations are nothing but computers at the transmitter site. One of their AMs lost a tower and remained on the air for 2 days before anyone noticed. Says alot about their operations, huh/ Paul Walker http://www.facebook.com/onairdj On Sat, Jun 20, 2009 at 3:18 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > Steve Francis Alcoa, Tennessee Sanyo stereo Select-a-tenna > > 1040 WLCR KY Mount Washington - 5/3 2045 EDT - Poor but alone > with "WLCR Mount Washington-Louisville ... tax-deductible donations to Holy > Family Radio, 3600 Goldsmith Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40220.
