From the Oregonian:
CBS Radio is selling KCMD 970 along with 3 Portland, OR FM stations to
Alpha
Broadcasting for $40 million. Alpha Broadcasting was formed by Larry
Wilson.
Alpha had recently purchased KXL 750 and KXTG FM "The Game" for $11
million from
Paul Allen in May. The only likely format change will be KCMD 970 which
lags the others
in reach.
