Back to more normal conditions between 12:57 and 13:18. A mixture of DU and TP reception, predominantly at the bottom half of the band, although I was hearing audio on the usual channels...1575 VOA, 1566 HLAZ (both 8 level), 1503, 1386 (6 level), 1287 JJ at 7, 1242 (JJ at 8 level), 1179, 1098, 1089, 1008, 963, 954 819 (all these 6 level, exc OC on 1098), 774 best of the NHK2 at 7, 765 (DU), 738...really nice signal that stayed around to 13:30 at 8 level, 702 (DU), 639 (Fiji at 6 level), 621 (6), 612 (Brisbane at 7), 603, 594, 585 (all 6), 576 and 567 both 7 and DU, 531 (a 6). The lowest frequencies were all quite strong on the Perseus waterfall, and monitored well after 13:00, so I suspect they would have been better had I started at the bottom and worked up. Also, they were all heard best with the S facing large diameter corner fed loop with 10 dB attenuation. Off to work I must go! ....Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC
