And to top it off, these planes aren't "spring chickens," either. Hawaii Mars (II) first flew in 1946! I see that they converted a few DC-10 to tanker service. Wonder why they did not convert many Lockheed Tristars (my favorite) to similar roles? The RAF uses them as air refuelers.
