Radio Network in Auckland has become the corporate giant of radio in
New Zealand, running six different AM and FM simulcast networks from
their headquarters in Auckland. I recently sent a "dual" report for
NewsTalk ZB on 1008 in Tauranga and 1215 Northland (in Kaikohe.) I
also sent a separate report of RadioSport-1377 Kapiti (in Levin) all
to the RadioNetwork headquarters in Auckland. I just got a nice
single reply back in under three weeks from Peter Everatt, Operations
Manager for RadioNetwork extending a semi-data QSL for each of the three.
In this day and age, I'm pleased with any positive reply and I'm
counting that letter as three stations QSLed! That boosts my New
Zealand QSLs over 30. I'll never come close to catching Patrick, but
31 Kiwi's has a nice ring to it!
