Inexpert Reply here (seriously) - Jim mentioned that his car radio was hearing the same thing as his comm rx. Could his car radio be close enough in proximity to the BOG to be using that as a receive antenna, in addition to the fender mounted whip?
Thanks Jim for the posts. Excellent reply, Neil.....I was worried that no-one was going to reply to Jim, and so figured that an inexpert reply would bring out the experts, hi. I will add that when I've compared BOGs to raised wires (this was 25 years ago, mind), I recall that they did not have as good side nulls as the raised wires. best wishes, Nick _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
