Listened this morning between 13:08 and 14:08 and it immediately became obvious that this was no repeat of yesterday's fantastic conditions. I'd call it an average, or even a slightly under performing Fall equinoxial morning. SF72, A1, K1 (who cares!). Upper band was down especially compared to yesterday. Everyone seemed attenuated across the board for the most part, and lots more domestic splatter. Here goes, with "6" unless otherwise stated:

It's finally coming in as it should!) 529: 9 SQM relly coming in nicely today 531: NHK1 at 7 at 13:16 540, 549 558: music at 8 level 13:26 567: 7 level 576: Russian at 8 level at 13:26 585: 8 level 594: 8 level NHK1 and cochannel at 13:28 603: 7 level 612: Brisbane at 14:08 at 8 level, and little other DU activity late. 621: CC at 8 level at 13:33, and still there at 14:08 639: CNR1 at 8 level 666: 7 level 675: VoV finally at nice level 8 at 13:35 702 711: 7 level but with +++splatter. Presumably KBS1 720, 729, 738 747: JJ at 13:39 at 8 level but +++splatter. 756: 7 level 765 774: 9 level JJ 792, 801 819: 8 level with N. Korea at 13:45 828: 9 level JJ 837, 846 855: 7 level N. Korea 864: 7 level 873: JJ at 7 level. 918: 7 level music at 13:49 936: 9 level at 13:18 945 954: 8 level JOKR at 13:50 963: 9 level CRI RR and cochannel with CC lesson. 972: 9 level KK 999: het from 999 and 998.91 1008 1017: 7 level 1053 1089: 7 level CC at 13:55 1107: 7 level music 1134 and 1143: both 7 1161: CC at up to 9 level at 13:58. Who's this? Not CNR1. Nothing noted over TOH, but may have faded down a bit. 1242: 8 level JJ 1251: 7 level 1269, 1278, and 1287: all 7 level at 14:02 1323, 1332, 1341, 1422 1566: 8 level HLAZ at 13:08, but virtually nothing on recheck at 14:04 1575: 8 level VOA early, and still decent at 14:04 1593 X-band: nil That's it for a pretty average morning.
