Started listening at 1300UT for a short while, and wasn't wildly impressed, lots of carriers, but mostly the regulars with audio. Came back just before 1400, and somewhat of an improvement particularly after the hour, but mostly, the DX didn't come easily. But, listening to two stations on 1269 for a few moments was certainly unexpected, especially as neither were //1287.
pretty darn good audio : 279 R. Rossii at 1305UT 594 JOAK 774 JOUB 828 JOBB after 1400UT 1287 JOHR at 1416UT reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 567 JOIK //594 603 assumed HLSA, second station in there as well 666 JOBK //594 at 1402UT 747 JOIB at 1407 972 HLCA 1017 CRI in KK //5965 at 1406UT 1332 JOSF likely w/JJ talk 1566 HLAZ with huge carrier 1575 VoA at 1413 not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 189 R. Rossii 675 seemed //5975, so Vietnam 873 JOGB //828, trading places w/N. Korea //2850 936 CC, likely Anhui 1053 jammer 1269 two stations, neither //1287??? 1407UT Burbles in the splatter and noise: 153 R. Rossii 531 JOQG //594 558 likely JOCR as not //603 612 4QR? seemed to have EE inflection and not //594 at 1403UT 657 hum and mumbly talk likely N. Korea 702 Asiatic per direction 738 unID, but Asiatic 855 not much hum, and talk there didn't seem Korean.
