Seems crazy that they don't offer an option to offset the time. Short sighted, I'd say! ....Walt.
It is funny, but I ran into an Ham that has been active for 60-70 years. He doesn't have an Atomic clock that will work on UTC either. The old wall clock is probably my best option. I wish I could replace the old motor in my Franklin clock, but it is a real 24 hour clock and a regular clock motor would not work.
