*- **CFUN AM 1410* <http://www.talk1410.com/>* Vancouver is now fully operational from its new transmitter site in Delta. The old site will be kept operational until December to allow CFUN to remain on the air while engineers tune **CKST AM 1040* <http://www.team1040.ca/>*, which is currently operating at half power from the new site. The old CKST towers, immediately to the north of the new ones, will be cut down next Monday. CHUM Radio engineers expect to have CKST fully operational at its new location by the end of this month. Both stations will broadcast with 50 kW from the new state-of-the-art seven tower site at **49-05-33 122-55-57*<http://atlas.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&formtype=address&latlongtype=degrees&latdeg=49&latmin=05&latsec=33&longdeg=-122&longmin=55&longsec=57> *. CFUN will radiate directionally from two towers with the same constants day and night, while CKST will be directional from 5 towers with different constants day and night.* _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
