Enjoy the TA's while you can, as they wont be there forever.... I remember well the DUs of the early 80s with night after night after night with 2 or 3, sometimes 4 on some channels, Darwin 657, PNG 585 and 864, 100 watters, you name it, even several from Western Australia. I thought they would go on forever, but by 1985 the pipeline had faded, not to be heard like that again. Stations like 4MK 1026 armchair copy night afte night. I would type my column listening to their Top 30 countdown. They were S9+20 at times! Ah the good ol' days, but unfortunately they don't last.
