Had to go to work this morning, so the truncated listening matched the truncated conditions. But John B.'s observation concerning the dominance of the lower band held true here also. The only one in the winner's circle this morning that wasn't one of the NHK powerhouses was, of all stations, 558 HLQH // to a slightly weaker HLCA-603 just before 1420UT.
There must have been a bit of a lean towards Korea as 711 was also heard quite well, presumed HLKA, but with something weaker underneath. 711 is normally not one of the stellar TP channels here. 567 was also a mix of two stations at times, though wasn't able to snag whatever wasn't JOIK. So, a little closer to "normal" TP conditions, but not entirely so. best wishes, Nick ********** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
