This morning was a little easier to handle from an intensity standpoint, but,
well, the DX wasn't as good. Started at 1400 and quit about 1440UT, when
things were starting to fade, though not radically. I'm not surprised Bruce
was hearing things later. Though mostly Japanese and Korean, a couple of
Chinese showed up later.

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly, though mostly pretty steady):

567 JOIK not //594 at 1413, but mentions of Hokkaido, and was JJ. Back //594
at 1425.
594 JOAK
747 JOIB
774 JOUB

reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash
or noise):

279 R. Rossii
558 HLQH clear but not really strong
828 JOBB; might have been stronger at some point, but not when I was listening
603 HLSA clear and //558, but not strong
972 HLCA
1575 VoA

not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:

531 JOQG //594
567 SAH and man talking just after 1400, u/JOIK; no KBS // at the time
612 JOLK //594 at 1437; mostly a jumble at other times
621 woman in CC? at 1427, too much splatter to say for sure. Hum and murky talk
earlier
666 JOBK //594
711 likely HLKA, man in KK sounding talk at various times
765 mx; no clue
864 woman talking, sounded JJ
1134 likely JOQR w/mx, not //972
1242 mx at 1420; the middle and upper band didn't have much oomph this morning

Burbles in the splatter and noise:

639 CNR-1 //5030 at 1435UT
657 N. Korea, hum and singing seemed //2850
675
738 woman talking, good carrier
783 talk in murk at 1432
801 hum and woman talking, didn't seem // N. Korea
936
945 CNR-1 //5030 at 1435UT
1143
1287
1566 at 1434, but mostly just strong carrier

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

none

best wishes,

Nick
