This morning was a little easier to handle from an intensity standpoint, but, well, the DX wasn't as good. Started at 1400 and quit about 1440UT, when things were starting to fade, though not radically. I'm not surprised Bruce was hearing things later. Though mostly Japanese and Korean, a couple of Chinese showed up later.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly, though mostly pretty steady): 567 JOIK not //594 at 1413, but mentions of Hokkaido, and was JJ. Back //594 at 1425. 594 JOAK 747 JOIB 774 JOUB reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 279 R. Rossii 558 HLQH clear but not really strong 828 JOBB; might have been stronger at some point, but not when I was listening 603 HLSA clear and //558, but not strong 972 HLCA 1575 VoA not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 531 JOQG //594 567 SAH and man talking just after 1400, u/JOIK; no KBS // at the time 612 JOLK //594 at 1437; mostly a jumble at other times 621 woman in CC? at 1427, too much splatter to say for sure. Hum and murky talk earlier 666 JOBK //594 711 likely HLKA, man in KK sounding talk at various times 765 mx; no clue 864 woman talking, sounded JJ 1134 likely JOQR w/mx, not //972 1242 mx at 1420; the middle and upper band didn't have much oomph this morning Burbles in the splatter and noise: 639 CNR-1 //5030 at 1435UT 657 N. Korea, hum and singing seemed //2850 675 738 woman talking, good carrier 783 talk in murk at 1432 801 hum and woman talking, didn't seem // N.
