My brother-in-law has an MSI Wind and he likes it but the keys are too small
for me. Susie got a Samsung netbook with a great keyboard. I had it in the
meeting room at the Convention. Liking the keyboard is really important.
Liking the touchpad is really important if you aren't going to use a mouse.
The touchpad on the Samsung is dreadful. There are a lot of good cordless
mice for netbooks/laptops. I like Logitech mice. I guess there's no reason
not to use a corded mouse.

Subject: Re: [IRCA] Laptop computer requirements for an SDR or
similarreceiver.
I was over at Fred Meyer and Costco looking a laptop computers. I have
been thinking about getting one down the road.
If I buy a laptop, I might as well get one that would handle an SDR or
similar type of receiver. What would I be looking for in a laptop that
could handle a SDR or other type of a computer receiver? Minimum
requirements? Thanks.
MSI Wind U100 netbook is what Mark Connolly uses with his Perseus. I
believe it also worked with the SDR-IQ he had. I did a Google search.
They
can be had brand new for $260-299.
Here's an Amazon link:

Don't have one myself, but Mark seems satisfied with it. Drop him a note
for further info.
