With all the talk about laptop requirements and USB2 vs eSATA, I heard a tech podcast (Leo Laporte) who discussed USB3 that's coming out sometime in the next year which will be many times faster than USB2 and backwards compatible. He felt that will do away with Firewire. Won't this development solve many of the bottlenecks we now have with SDR recording. Who knows, perhaps soon, we'll be able to download the entire MW and HF spectrum to our hard drives! ....Walt Salmaniw, Victoria
