Hi all: Just uploaded to the DXer.ca and Yahoo UltralightDX sites is an article about building a Moxon antenna for indoor use. As someone who can't hoist a good 12-element Yagi up on the roof, I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Moxon design, which gives a lot more gain than a dipole or whip antenna and is also quite directional. It takes three lengths of PVC pipe, some connectors and some wire and rubber bands to have a really good FM antenna. It will hook up to any FM receiver, including portables, that will take an external FM antenna.
