Your UNID on 860 is probably KTRB. They're sports and their night pattern sends 
all of their signal in your direction.

KTCT is only 10 KW at night and they are quite strong in Maui. Both KTNQ-1020 
and KTLK-1150 (diplexed) are also quite strong there. All three have night 
patterns that send everything in your direction. 

I heard KOKC (it was KOMA when I heard it in 2001 on our honeymoon) on a rental 
car radio at 7:30 PM in Maui. It was very strong. Like you I was very pleased 
and my new bride was impressed. 

738 RFO Tahiti is a regular there; a good signal that never fades. 

All of these were heard on a stock Sony 2010.
