Another poor morning. It was difficult to work up enthusiasm for detailed listening when even 594 was scrabbling in the weeds. There was one Chinese signal, on 639, but only barely identifiable with the 5030 parallel. 945, I suspect, was NHK1, but was pretty poor, and just a little better that the 594 perhaps parallel. These were short and infrequent fade-ups, not regular.
Also went through some SDR-14 files from last night, and, yes, Mayak chimes were heard weakly on 576 at 0800, and 594 was heard with some readable audio at 1100 and 1200UT, but not really enough to justify leaping out of bed at those hours. best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
