Had to go to work this morning so didn't get much listening done; seemed a little better than the last couple of mornings, though still pretty drab. Northerly conditions are improving elsewhere, Bill Whitacre in D.C. reporting TP carriers, and Martin Hall in Scotland hearing NHK stations again at 1320UT.
Best signal was VoA-1575 at 1430UT, quite listenable, but the Japanese big guns weren't at all that good strength. Oddments were some audio traces on 1539 around 1520UT, which seemed Asian rather than over the pole, and 738 fading up with mx at 1438UT; hard to read though, as there were 4 carriers spread over about 4 Hz, all beating with each other. best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
