This afternoon, I decided to check 1110 on the car radio at 2 pm. KBND was doing quite well on day skip, strong enough to have the radio's scan function stop there. There was a weak music station in the background, which I assume was KWDB. For the record, I was 40 miles from KWDB and 300 miles from KBND. This was definitely not normal - I can't recall ever hearing KBND during the day, and KWDB, while not all that strong, is usually at a listenable level.
