Asian conditions were down this morning, and there were hints of signals from down under. Listened for a few minutes at 1315 and again at 1500UT, with some quick checks at other times.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 774 JOUB 828 JOBB reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 567 JOIK //594, but not noted at this level until 1512UT 594 JOAK 675 likely VV talk by man and woman, no SW //'s available. Best at 1507UT. 747 JOIB not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 639 choral mx (DU direction, so Fiji?), mixing with weaker CNR-1 //4460, at 1511UT 666 JOBK //594 at 1320UT 873 JOGB //828 at 1510UT Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 279 likely R. Rossii 612 mx, DU direction at 1507UT, so 4QR? 621 two stations, one off channel, so N. Korea and ? 702 man talking in murk at 1510, not //774 and DU direction, so 2BL? 918 talking, but didn't really sound like CC inflection? 954 sounded like JJ inflection to talk 963 talk seemed //7255, so CRI; not heard for awhile 972 HLCA likely 1566 HLAZ at 1322UT, big carrier. 1575 likely VoA, later on.
