Hi Bill;

I think that the consensus is that you heard KFRC - CA.  That being
said, you might want to consider using this website.
http://www.topazdesigns.com/ambc/  On the far right there is a section
"Station Search."  You choose the frequency, put in the call that you
*think* that you heard (in your case "ksrc"), make sure that search type
is marked as "fuzzy" and click "callsign search" and voila, KFRC is the
only result. You can use question marks as wild cards.  This works very
well.  It is a very handy tool and has helped me resolve countless
unIDs.

At 7PM PST I heard a station doing what sounded like a national oldies
program with a call ID inserted sounding like KSRC but can't find
anything logged with that call and I haven't heard Van,Wa. doing a show
with straight 60s R&R .I wonder who that was.Bill in BC
