Sorry for the late report, but it wasn't that great a morning anyway. Overall strength of signals seemed to be down, and though I'm sure more would have been heard if I'd stuck with it longer, it didn't seem worth the effort. Listened at 1410 and 1520 UT for a few minutes each time. (and TA's this evening practically non-existent; occasional carriers)
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 828 JOBB reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK 747 JOIB 774 JOUB not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 972 HLCA? 1287 JOHR? 1422 JORF? Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 873 JOGB //828 1134 too much splatter to tell 1188 didn't seem //594 Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 864, 1008, 1566 ******************** and 11 Feb TA's? just carriers on 963, 1134, 1179, 1215, 1323 and 1611...possibly others, but except for 963, they were pretty erratic. best wishes, Nick ********** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected] ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
