Here in Seattle, it is also an occasional visitor. The same audio programming is also transmitted on 1269, and very occasionally I can get a parallel confirmation of the two. They were pretty good in November and a little bit into December.
I agree with Gary - a good antenna is required. My 9x10 foot indoor super loop, pointed north and away from the domestic noise, gets these OK, while my roof-mounted active whip is simply too overwhelmed with its omnidirectional pattern and inherently noisier approach to life.
