What draws my interest is the fact that, per their catalog and Web site,
it has a Twin-Coil antenna that can be tweaked to bring in DX. I have the
stand-alone version of the Twin Coil, and it is tuned somewhat sharply
with a varicap over the entire MW band. Since the catalog states that
locals should be able to be tuned in without tweaking the Twin Coil,
perhaps the selectivity of the built-in won't have the tuning sharpness of
the stand-alone model. Still, being able to fine-tune the ferrite will be
a welcome addition. It's also dual-conversion, so those of us in urban RF
jungles will have some relief from images.

So, like all new models.... we shall see! If it is sensitive and fairly
immune to images, I can see slipping a narrower filter into it in order to
make it a real DX beast.
