KEVT was one of the two stations that conducted a DX test this season, WSRY-1550 Maryland being the other. KEVT can really get out on day power with code and sweeps; Nigel Pimblett in Alberta caught some sweep tones on their January test. The test started three and a half hours late; otherwise, I bet other DXers at such distances would have heard them as well.
I sure hope they can send some DX test-style program content during those two hours - even with 10 kilowatts, voice IDs (whether English or Spanish!) have a hard time making it in this day and age. Paul Lotsof, Frank Luna and Armando Zamora have really been DXers' friends these past several years - I'm sorry to hear about KEVT's reversals of fortune.
