Hi Walt,

Thanks very much for your detailed reports from Masset.

Ruth, Danny and I plan to visit Seaside, OR from the 17th to the 23rd of
this month, and copies of your logs will be taken along. The fully-loaded
family vehicle will not accommodate large loops or radios, but the plan is to
chase DU's with a 36" portable PVC Loop (designed to fit easily in a
crammed Toyota Corolla trunk)

(http://www.mediafire.com/?hqyzzu1mvyt) and a 7.5" loopstick PL-380, a
modified DSP Ultralight which seems
very competitive with the E100 Slider model that you used so effectively
during your South Pacific cruise last year. We don't expect results like your
Masset DXpedition, but should have fun traveling around the Oregon coast,
and perhaps visiting Patrick's famous TP-DXing headquarters once again.

Thanks again for your useful DXing logs, and have fun during the rest of
your Masset stay.

Only a fair morning here in Masset, with mostly Japanese stations, with a
smattering of DU signals as well. Here's my list, with 6 unless otherwise
noted. The SW tropical bands were terrible today compared to last week,
by the way.......Walt
