Hmmm, my 2009 WRTH lists it at 20 kw, and EMWG at 10 kw, so, who knows, Walt...but hold on, wasn't your unID 1098, and Nigel's 1089? (I was following Nigel's thread, hi, so my query about Iran still stands...)
As for parallels, 1089, 1098 and 1116 were all heard in Doha (and 783 is most powerful of the network, also heard), but the second program is listed as being off at 2200UT, so I assumed that after then, the regular Arabic service was being broadcast.
