Hello All, Thanks again to Patrick, Chuck, Bruce, Walt and Guy for detailed assistance in helping me sort out many Unidentified DU stations heard during last month's Ultralight DXpedition to Seaside and Lincoln City, Oregon. Still finding it hard to believe that the DU propagation to Oregon is so fantastic, I managed to convince my family that we needed to head back down to Lincoln City for 3 days (for more sightseeing, of course :-) For this short trip the same Ultralight gear will be used (Tecsun PL-380 with custom 7.5" LW and MW plug-in loopsticks), but in a crash program I was able to tweak the design of last month's 3' portable loop to create a new portable 4' sided PVC tuned passive loop, which also fits in a compact car trunk when disassembled. For those interested, a photo of this beach monster is at _http://www.mediafire.com/i/?d30rw0zruuusrzl_ (http://www.mediafire.com/i/?d30rw0zruuusrzl) Good luck also to my hometown buddy Guy Atkins, who will also be heading down to the Oregon coast this week to try his luck! 73, Gary DeBock (in Puyallup, WA) _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca
