The CRTC has approved an application for CKDR-6 -1240 Atikokan ON to become a
relay of
CFOB-FM Fort Francis ON instead of the present CKDR-2-FM Sioux Outlook.

About 20 years ago, when CFOB was still on AM (640) with 1kW I logged them one
night
on a barefoot GE Superadio here in Calgary AB. They were way over KFI. Never
heard them again.

amendments
1. The Commission approves the application by Northwoods Broadcasting
Limited
(Northwoods) to amend the broadcasting licence for the English-language radio
programming
undertaking CFOB-FM Fort Frances in order for CFOB-FM to replace the
English-language commercial

programming broadcast
by the AM rebroadcasting transmitter CKDR-6 Atikokan. The Commission also
approves the licensee’s
request to amend the broadcasting licence for CKDR-2-FM in order to delete its

application.
