Up really early to help out my wife who burned her hands while we were preparing a fiery Texas chili.
Normally when I cut up the really hot chili peppers, I wear gloves - she did not. Woke me up at 4AM saying "My hands are on fire..." Always a shock that early. Anyway - a bath of soap followed by a hand bath of milk and a dusting of Sodium Bicarb settled the burn down. In the meantime, I put on the Eton E1 for a quick "in the window" scan of the MW dial. Some audio on 774 and 828 with lots of carriers all over the place... 594, 603, 972, etc. Was really only half awake. Just realized that since we had ALL of our windows replaced with double pane, they no longer open enough for me to hold the Eton E1 "outside" -- did not seem to matter much.
