Signals continue to be generally weakish here; the little bit of antenna checking I've done shows nothing untoward. A temporary large ALA100 seems to deliver more signal strength, but with more splatter also, but allowed first audio this season on 1134. Listened from 1250-1305 and again around 1330UT....perhaps there was a big boost in the period between.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 594 JOAK at 1334UT reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 1566 HLAZ not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 747 JOIB 774 JOUB 828 JOBB 972 HLCA Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 153 and 189 R. Rossii 612 4QR later on 1134 sounded like JJ? JOQR? 1287 JOHR? Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1053, 1575 best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
