Hello All, It was another good Asiatic TP morning here, with the first all-time new TP logged here from the new DX season. To investigate mysteries on 729, 1053 and other frequencies, I switched over to the 9' sided PVC tuned passive loop this morning. WWF wrestling experience is helpful in handling this monster box loop, but it immediately made a difference in sorting out the TP mysteries. A TP was back on 729 kHz this morning in 730-CHMJ splatter, this time with Japanese at a good level. It was immediately identified from the 594 kHz parallel as JOCK in Nagoya, an all-time new TP here (thanks, Bruce). This may have been yesterday's 729 mystery station, but will keep reviewing yesterday's MP3 for confirmation. 1053 kHz was checked repeatedly with the 9' loop this morning, but the Jammer was overpowering at S9+, drowning out the competition. Other frequencies like 603, 738 and 891 kHz had interesting TP mixes, but there wasn't enough time to sort them all out. For those curious about the appearance of a 9' sided PVC box loop (and the relatively puny DXer), a photo is posted at _http://www.mediafire.com/i/?jraw1yly2ff_ (http://www.mediafire.com/i/?jraw1yly2ff) The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP Slider model (7.5" loopstick) and 9' PVC tuned passive loop in the back yard: 558 JOCR Kobe, Japan Good Japanese music and conversation, 1307 585 JOPG Kushiro, Japan Fair-good Japanese NHK1 program, 1309 594 JOAK Tokyo, Japan Very strong with Japanese conversation, 1308 603 (TP-Mix) Korean speech (presumed HLSA) and music (presumed China) fighting it out at a fair-good level around 1319; no clear winner 639 CNR1 Beijing, China Fair signals with Chinese speech and music, 1314 648 VOR Razdolnoye, Russia Fair with Chinese external program, 1315 657 Pyongyang, N.
