>From Tom Taylor's Radio Info Newsletter An Ontario AM wins a temporary reprieve from a Canadian court.
The station is St. Catharines-licensed CHSC (1220), which was handed the ultimate penalty (loss of license) for flouting its license conditions. CHSC is supposed to serve the local community around St. Catharines, not the Italian community toward Toronto. Licensee Pellpropco went to court, and a judge will allow it to appeal the decision that ordered it to sign off on August 31. _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
