Bert,

The fence is a 6' high wood fence. I use speaker wire (cheap 20 awg wire at
Wal-mart)
The U shaped antenna runs 59'x52'x70' along the top side of the fence. Two
sides run
North-South and the bottom is East-West. The end of the 59' run is connected
to a ewe
matching transformer with a coax cable of about 12' running to the receiver.
The end of the antenna is not grounded. The matching transformer is grounded.
It receives
stations better towards the Northeast(TA's). Null seems to be to the Northwest
(TP's)
It picks up TA's as well as a ewe aimed NE. TP's are seldom heard on the fence
antenna.
It's a good antenna for me, because of the CC&r's and can't be seen by
neighbors. To hear
TP's I have to go out after dark and raise the masts of the ewe antenna and
take them down after sunrise.
Hope this helps Bert.

Dennis,
Could you post some information about your Fence Antenna? I'm getting
ready to put some sealant on my fence and I might put up new one on my fence.
Thanks.
