TP's here were much better this morning. However I didn't hear anything new, just the usual powerhouses. Also, I was distracted by better than normal Mexican signals. Receivers were barefoot PL-310 and -380, also modified PL-310 with 7.5-inch loopstick. Local sunrise at 1229 UTC.

Kansai, JOCR, Kobe J, 20 kW. 594 JOAK, Tokyo J, 1229, man talking rapidly JJ, fair, fade-out 1232 (mod PL-310). 648 Probably VOR, RUS, het, 1153, QRM CKOM & XETNT 650 (PL-310). 693 JOAB, Tokyo J, 1222, NHK2 Basic English, poor, KGGF 690 QRM (PL-310). 702 Unid het, 1154 (PL-310). 738 Unid faint het, 1202, severe QRM KRMG 740 (PL-310). 747 JOIB, Sapporo J, 1040, JJ talk, fair, QRM WSB 750 (PL-310). 774 JOUB, Akita J, 1042, JJ talk, fair (PL-380). At 1233, NHK2 Basic English, barely audible, fade-out 1236 (mod PL-310). The latter was easily recognized by high pitched voice of female host. 828 JOBB, Osaka J, slight het, QRM XEIK 830 (PL-310). 972 HLCA, Dangjin KOR, het, 1119. Strong het, 1218, QRM XEJ 970 (PL-310).
