Yep, back in business with the Asiatics today, checked at 1300UT, then 1340 for a little over half an hour...breakfast at the radio, not a good sign, but after the last couple of days, I wanted to see what panned out.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 774 JOUB 828 JOBB 1566 HLAZ briefly before pattern change at 1343 reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK 747 JOIB 972 HLCA 1287 JOHR at 1414UT w/man in JJ not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 558 HLQH //603 576 man and woman in RR at 1352UT; presumed Mayak 603 HLSA with something else underneath at 1407UT 612 4QR at 1410; DU talk 711 HLKA, KK talk at 1357UT 936 Anhui, two men talking in EE after CC talk at 1411UT; big carrier, audio not so good 945 mix of NHK1 and CNR1 at various times 1017 two stations at 1404UT, both mysteries; not //5965 or NHK2.. 1188 JOKP w/man in JJ at1402UT Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 567 JOIK //594 648 Russia? 657 off channel mumbling talk, presumed N. Korea 846 a mix of audio at 1340UT, one appeared to be NHK1 //594 864 JJ inflected talk 873 JOGB //774 981 seemed //4460, if so, CNR1 1044 CRI? 1134 3 and 1 pips at 1300, but too much splash from 1130 for any language ID; good carrier.
