Reception of TP signals was a little better this morning.  The best signal was 
that of JOAB 693 which appeared just before sunrise. 

Receiver: Modified Tecsun PL-310 with 7.5-inch loopstick.  Local sunrise was at 
1237 UTC.

558  unID, 1220, het, not audible earlier; stronger at 1226-1228.
567  unID (JOIK?), het, 1241.
594  JOAK, Tokyo J, 1228, man talking JJ, fading away by 1232.
648  unID (VOR?), 1218, het, QRM by XETNT & CKOM 650.
693  JOAB, Tokyo J, 1235-1236, NHK2 Basic English, fair level, fading out at 
1239.  Signal heard again at 1245, poor, fading under KGGF 690 at 1247.
702  unID (JOKD?), 1217, het, not audible earlier.
747  JOIB, Sapporo J, 1159, het. with NHK 2100 JST TS partially audible at 1200.
774  JOUB, Akita J, 1233, man & woman talking, poor.  Signal not as good as 
usual.
828  JOBB, Osaka J, 1223, het, not audible earlier.  NHK2 Basic English //693 
at 1236.
972  HLCA, Dangjin KOR, 1214, het, not audible earlier.  Signal disappear 
before sunrise.

No TP signals above 972 were heard.
