Hmmm, guess I was on the other side of the great divide this morning. Quite poor conditions, and I worked at it on and off from 1355 to 1430UT. It wasn't as bad as 1400UT yesterday of course, but not sure I'd call this as good as 1300UT yesterday.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 774 JOUB reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 747 JOIB 972 HLCA not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 828 JOBB 1287 likely JOHR 1566 HLAZ not until 1413UT Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 594 JOAK 945 an oddball, seemed like CNR1 //4460, not until 1425UT 963 likely CRI at 1414 w/RR sounding talk 1242 likely JOLF? Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 936 seems to undermodulated this season? best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
