Around that same time (7:15am Central time or so) I was only getting a very weak BFO-detectable carrier on 774 here, on a barefoot Sony 7600GR--didn't have time to check for anything else.

Carrier was audible until 1300. 792 unID, 1249, carrier. 828 JOBB Osaka J, 1221, carrier; 1245, weak audio fading away at 1246. 972 HLCA Dangjin KOR, 1239, weak het. No other DX heard here this morning, except a few Mexican border stations. The only TA heard last evening was Algeria 531, plus usual hets on 909, 1089 and 1521. Hoping the west coast DXer had a better time of it.
