Wasn't much time for listening this morning, and an earlier search at 1315UT didn't look too exciting, but had 10 minutes from 1435 to 1445UT....well obviously that's where there was a bit of sunrise enhancement. 1566 was solid w/CC talk, and continues to be so as I type this. Most of the action was in the upper band. All noted below heard in this later time period.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 1566 HLAZ as mentioned above reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK fading up later 774 JOUB but fading up only later 1575 assumed VoA not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 279 R. Rossii 972 HLCA Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 585 unID didn't sound //594 603 HLSA, maybe something else; this can be a wonderfully quiet channel here. 747 JOIB assumed 828 JOBB assumed 1161 Taiwan??? 1224 unknown 1287 JOHR? 1314 JOUF? 1323 CRI? 1422 JORF? Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 189, 936, 1269, 1494 best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
