Unusual DX this morning with few TP signals. However, there were a couple of
surprises. Receiver: Tecsun PL-310 & 7.5-inch ferrite loopstick. Local
sunrise was at 1245 UTC.

594 JOAK Tokyo J, 1244, woman & man talking JJ, fair. The bright spot of the
morning was this solid signal heard until fade out at 1250. Best signal from
JOAK this season.
648 unID, 1221, weak carrier.
693 unID (JOAB?), 1252, trace of het in KGGF 690 sideband.
702 unID (DU?), 1226-1228, carrier. The signal was strongest toward
west-southwest (about 250°). No signal heard when receiver turned toward Asia.
774 unID (JOUB?), 1218, carrier, no audio. Weak carrier still audible in KSPI
780 slop at 1257.
828 unID (JOBB?), 1250, weak carrier (het).

No TA's were audible at 0500 UTC, but CBK 540, CKRM 620, CBW 990 and CFSL 1190
were heard as usual. This morning CBW was mixing with a stronger XET before
1200.

Best wishes for a good week of DX.
