KVI will drop conservative talk in favor of oldies on Monday.

The change was announced on sister station KOMO's website a few days ago:

It seems like an unusual move.  Not many AM stations have music formats these
days, and conservative talk is still a popular.  On the other hand, KVI's
ratings have been in a bit of a decline lately, starting a few years ago when
Rush Limbaugh moved to KTTH-770.

It will be interesting to see how the change works out.  Oldies formats can be
reallly good or reallly bad depending on how they're put together.

From a DXing perspective, it'll probably mean more splatter for the TP's on 567
and 575.
