As Nigel noted....a little better this morning, a sure indicator that I didn't have enough time to listen as I prepared for work....still, it only a bit better compared with some bad conditions lately, and things were pretty erratic. Listened at 1420UT, and then again at 1520UT, when there seemed to be a bit of a lift, mostly in the upper band.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 774 JOUB 1566 HLAZ at 1526 CC talk reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 828 JOBB 972 HLCA at 1522 not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 594 JOAK 747 JOIB, s/off chimes at 1525UT 1476 likely China, Life R. fading up at 1527UT 1557 likely Family R.
