No enhancement this morning, and I'd say Nigel did quite a bit better in Alberta. Listened to weak regulars at 1410UT, not much change at 1510, except maybe a bit weaker. Heard 828 sign off chimes (weakly) at 1521UT, then off to work.
But, this evening, 2 Dec 0700ish UT, there has been poor audio from 594, 747, 774 and 1287 already (didn't even hear 1287 this morning) pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): no reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): nothing here either not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 774 JOUB 828 JOBB 972 HLCA Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 594 assumed JOAK 747 JOIB //774 1566 HLAZ assumed; erratic fading up Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 864, 1287, 1575 best wishes, Nick best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
