Scott, It reminds me of the huge rates KAIM-870 had to pay on Molokai years ago with their 50 KW. They shut it down. For many years when I lived in AK (55-67), There were no 50 KWers at all. KFQD-730, later 750, KFAR 660 and KFRB 900 were 10 KW and everything else had lower power. There were only 19 AM station in the 49th state when I left tere in 1967.
